Reed Cochran, Executive Director
Reed became Executive Director of SCM in July, 2006 after serving a year as the Interim Executive Director. SCM is her first non-profit endeavor. Prior to working at SCM, she was a management consultant in the private sector, focusing on the high tech industry. Over time, she decided she'd rather find a career where she could create a meaningful impact on people's lives. The Board hired Reed on a temporary basis: After all, she knew almost nothing about transportation. But she learned fast, and she fell in love with SCM's mission. Five year later, Reed's still here. Her goal is to renovate SCM's business model, positioning the agency for a sustainable and scalable future. Reed holds an undergraduate degree in History from Brown University and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Deb Shemano, Operations Manager
Deb has been managing SCM's operations for 20 years and has over 24 years of para-transit management experience. While actively involved in all levels of SCM's development, the most satisfying event every day is the end of the day when SCM has successfully delivered all of our passengers to and from their destinations.
